Workstyle Revolution is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming work to be more personalised and inclusive. Our mission is to create a happier, more fulfilled society through a world of work without bias. We partner with charities including Scope, Autistica, Astriid and Mind to close employment gaps and better support those who are in work.

The Workstyle Pioneers programme focusses on closing employment gaps by shifting away from rigid 9-to-5 structures that exclude many people, and instead supporting individuals and employers to work together in a more personalised way.

Why Workstyle Matters

If we design around life, not the other way around, it includes more people. Personalising work - or as we say, taking a ‘workstyle’ approach - boosts wellbeing, productivity, and inclusivity. Currently, many individuals face barriers to employment due to outdated work structures. Consider these employment gaps:

  • Disabled individuals: 29% gap in employment rates.

  • Mental health challenges: 31% gap.

  • Carers: 30.5% gap.

  • Neurodiverse individuals: 51% gap.

  • Long-term illness: 50% gap.

  • Older workers: 61% gap.

  • Parents: 37% gap.

By implementing workstyle principles, and moving from a one-sized approach to work to a personalised approach, we can break down these barriers and welcome more exceptional talent into the workforce. We can also better support those individuals who are already in employment. 

What is the Workstyle Pioneers Initiative?

Through this programme, we are partnering with forward-thinking employers to:

  • Support individuals from the excluded groups above into personalised, sustainable employment.

  • Train line managers and employees in workstyle working.

  • Research and refine best practices to scale inclusive job design across industries.

Havas, NHS, Logitech and SWAP Audit have already signed up as employer partners, demonstrating their commitment to workplace inclusion but we are still looking for more employer partners. 

How Can Your Organisation Get Involved?

We are seeking employer partners of all sizes from diverse industries and sectors to:

  1. Employ a currently-excluded individual from one of the groups above on a 6-month placement. Benefit from FREE upfront training for line manager and employee, with paid coaching support at £320/month for 6 months – £1,920 total cost. (3 employer partner places remaining)

  2. Support an existing employee from one of the groups above on a 6-month placement. Upfront training for line manager and employee for a subsidised price of £950 each, with paid coaching support at £320/month for 6 months – £3,820 total cost. (6 employer partner places remaining)
